All acting is physical!
This workshop explores physical acting through dynamic presence, expressivity & awareness. Sheila, former Head of Training at Dell’arte International, offers a unique approach combining her expertise in body/mind practices with her extensive experience in physical acting.
Sheila’s rigorous but inclusive training weekend includes:

• Practical organization of the body/mind
• Physical training to develop spontaneity & specificity
• Techniques to relax the inner judge that critiques and limits creative flow
• Direct application to text or monologue work

Participants in the class will work with sustained periods of physical movement, as well as stillness, breath and self-reflection. All participants will have an opportunity to work with text of their choice (from any source, including self-generated) during the course of the weekend.

Friday 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
